Belmopan Housing Compound
Belmopan, Belize
US Department of State awarded the Build to Lease contract to Vistas. Vistas was responsible for design and construction in additionto procuring construction financing for the project.
Vistas is also responsible for the operation, maintenance and services of the 645,000sf housing compound including all major maintenance, structural work, and major repair, encompassing structural elements and systems including sewer, perimeter grounds maintenance , electrical, recreational amenities, walls, ceiligs, roofs, floors, foundations, etc. |

The Design\Build requirements included: |

A 15 Acre self sustaining housing compound with a perimeter security wall |
|
A CMR, 17 staff houses (“Staff Housing”), recreational amenities including a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts |
|
Site work included salvaging of existing trees, clearing, grubbing, sewage and storm drains, underground electrical infrastructure, perimeter lightning, fire and potable water distribution lines, landscaping, paved roads, driveways and sidewalks |
The project period was performed in less than 14 months including design. |
